Group Reservations

 

LTB Ferry welcomes the opportunity to coordinate with business groups, community groups, and non-profit organizations for specific functions and special events.

Reservations

 

  • Passengers are strongly encouraged to make reservations ahead of time to avoid delays in boarding.
  • Tickets purchased from our website ( desktop or mobile site ) will receive a confirmation email once successfully ticketed.
  • Our reservation system uses virtual tickets.
  • When you arrive at the boat, the reservation software will indicate that a reservation under your name has been booked with a credit card.
  • You don’t need to present a paper ticket. Use your receipt on mobile phone ‘screen’ as your boarding pass.
    Reservations can be made from any of our agents, over the phone or on our website.

SEASON PASS HOLDERS are encouraged to make reservations during high demand times, to ensure a seat is reserved for you.

  • If you have not pre-purchased a ticket at boarding time, and there is space available, please be prepared to present a credit card.
  • Cash is not accepted on the ferry.
  • Note: At boarding time, reservations without payment will be assigned stand-by status.

Rules of Conduct

 

  • Passengers must wait in the designated waiting area until the boarding call is made
  • Smoking is not allowed
  • Firearms are not permitted
  • Passengers must be appropriately dressed (shoes and shirts are required)
  • Drinking from glass containers is not allowed
  • Food and beverages are allowed, within reason. Please clean up after yourselves
  • Guide dogs or trained personal assistant animals can accompany their owners
  • Please make sure to take all belongings when leaving the ferry
  • Any lost then found items will be held securely on the boat

  • LITTLE TRAVERSE BAY Ferry is not responsible for personal belongings.

Release of Liability

 

  • Acceptance of ticket purchase constitutes a contract.
  • The holder of this ticket, as a condition of being permitted to use the ferry for transit, agrees to assume all risk of personal injury or loss of or damage to property.
  • The purchaser or user of this Ferry understands that hazards and dangerous conditions may occur without warning. Water conditions very constantly, due to the weather which is outside of our control.
  • In consideration of purchasing and redeeming a ferry ticket for transit, the purchaser agrees to accept the risk of such activities and hold the Little Traverse Bay Ferry indemnified.
  • I hereby give permission to Little Traverse Bay Ferry to use my photo-graphic likeness in all forms and media for advertising, trade and any other lawful purposes.
  • This includes any and all images you have this day taken of me, without further compensation of me. All digital files shall constitute the sole property of Little Traverse Ferry.
  • The management is not responsible for misplaced, lost or stolen tickets. Tickets may be revoked without refund at any time for misconduct of or nuisance caused by holder.

Weather

 

  • In the event of inclement weather, all ticket holders will be notified of any schedule changes or cancellations. Safety is our number one concern for all guests, always.
  • Tickets will be valid for alternate departures but will remain nonrefundable.
  • If weather conditions change and we are unable to operate, you are responsible for your transportation back to your originating destination.
