This summer, the Little Traverse Bay Ferry is temporarily serving in Traverse City while the Discovery Cruises vessel undergoes repairs. We are proud to help another Northern Michigan passenger vessel operator continue serving their community.
We expect the ferry to return to Little Traverse Bay around the **end of July**.
While the ferry is away, we’re expanding the Harbor Princess schedule with **new daytime sightseeing cruises**.
**Now Departing:**
* **Tuesdays – 3:00 PM**
* **Thursdays – 3:00 PM**
* **Saturdays – 3:00 PM**
These cruises follow a beautiful route along the **south shore of Little Traverse Bay**, passing Bay Harbor and some of Northern Michigan’s most spectacular waterfront homes, Bay Harbor Yacht Club, and shoreline scenery.
Of course, our popular **Sunset Cruises** continue throughout the summer, along with special events including:

* U Gotta Regatta Spectating Cruises
* Petoskey History Cruises
We appreciate everyone’s support while we’re helping our friends in Traverse City and look forward to welcoming the ferry home later this summer.

We provide personal boarding assistance for all guests, including those with mobility needs and bikes. Restrooms are available both at the landings and on board. Transit time is up to 45 minutes—please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early.

The fun way around the bay! Connecting Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Bay Harbor with passenger ferry services from May to September on Little Traverse Bay. Established in 2020, the Little Traverse Bay Ferry is a non-profit 501(c)(3) status. The ferry was a vision by the community, for the community. Reviving northern Michigan traditions to provide unique travel and educational experiences for all ages while connecting and promoting our lakeside communities.
